Thank you for your continued support…
Area police departments are investigating several sexual assault cases that involve staged traffic accidents. The victims are alone, driving when their vehicle is sideswiped or hit from the rear. When the victim exits her vehicle the suspect forces her into his vehicle and drives to an isolated location where the sexual assault occurs.
One such event occurred early New Years morning at IH 635 and Plano Rd. The suspect was driving a white 4 door vehicle in the size range of a Ford Escape with a broken rear view mirror. The suspect is identified as a Hispanic male.
When traveling alone and you are involved in a fender bender please dial 911, stay on the phone and report your location. Drive to a well lighted business where witnesses are present before making a decision to exit your vehicle. Remember stay on the phone with the 911 operator until the Police arrive on the scene.
This same staged accident scenario is used by criminals to steal vehicles, armed robbers, kidnappers, and again rapist.
We are sponsoring coffee and donuts the first Sunday of every month!

The St. Mark Mission Trip for 2010
Mobile, Alabama
This was a rewarding experience for the St. Mark team!
Catholic Heart was a good camp to work with and we all felt very appreciated-Our group worked most of the week at a Convent helping to restore it to a livable condition again. The sisters thanked us many times for caring so much about them and working tirelessly through the week.
Thank You Adults
John, Pat, Cristina, and Mirna!!
The fact that a lot of us started out together as young people and still today love and appreciate each other says a lot about our roots. That’s what it always comes back to… our roots. We’re older but no matter how much time passes or what life presents, we always find our way back to each other.
Parents-You are the number 1 influence!
Christian Friends-Stay in contact with those people who believe as you do!
Experiences-Make us who we are!
Being Seen Well-Acceptance is key!
“Share Jesus and be strengthened through Him”
This has been so much fun… we have been gifted with many good people willing to come and spend a little time talking and sharing with a room full of excited young people.
And boy did they eat!!
Thank You Father Cliff for another successful summer of Pizza With the Pastor.
We look forward to next year…

We’ll let you know when another Garage Sale is planned…
Talk it over with Jesus…
Jesus said to the apostles, “Come by yourselves to an out-of-the-way place and rest a little…So Jesus and the apostles went off in a boat by themselves to a deserted place.” Think for a moment it’s just you and Jesus alone in quiet place. It’s a time when we ask some straight questions. How am I? Am I living up to your expectations? What kind of person am I becoming?
Lent is a time of cleansing, searching, and reflecting. It’s something that is done regularly. During Lent we move things around in our lives. It’s not a question of dirt and sin. It’s a question of rethinking and adjusting our thoughts. By fasting and prayer and works of mercy, we begin to see things differently. We take an honest look at our lives.
It’s about opening our hearts and minds to a fresh, deeper, fuller awareness of God within us and around us. And ultimately to God’s will! Here’s to new beginnings…
